ABOUT THIS POSITION

The Design Intern supports the Louise Dover Interiors team throughout all phases of the design process. This role is ideal for a student or recent graduate eager to gain hands-on experience in a high-end residential design studio. The Design Intern will assist with project documentation, sourcing, organization, and presentation preparation while learning how a professional design firm operates day to day.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Assist design team with sourcing furniture, finishes, and materials

Support in preparing client presentations and design boards

Help maintain and organize the studio library and sample inventory

Update spreadsheets, schedules, and documentation as needed

Assist with site visits, installations, and vendor coordination

Provide general support to the design team on active projects

SYSTEM PROFICIENCY

AutoCAD / SketchUp / Excel / Google Workspace

Strong communication skills and attention to detail.

Dependable, organized, and eager to learn.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Interior Design/Interior Architecture/Architecture or a related field

Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Excel preferred

Strong interest in residential design and studio operations
